In late 2004, Visa and MasterCard announced a new security initiative known as the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard in an effort to standardize industry security requirements for storing, processing and transmitting cardholder data.
As a Merchant Focus customer you should be aware of the requirements for PCI Compliance.

Please note that PCI Data Security Standard compliance is a requirement of the card associations and there are numerous companies that provide compliance services. Like other industry initiatives, Merchant Focus and Authorize.Net strongly recommend that you educate yourself about the PCI Data Security Standard and compliance requirements.
